SAN ANTONIO, April 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Pabst Brewing Company (Pabst) announced today the launch of its new light lager: Pabst Light. Rolling out nationwide this April, Pabst Light delivers the quality and affordability consumers have come to expect from the Pabst name.
With just 96 calories, 3.5g of carbs, and 4.2% ABV, Pabst Light offers everything you’d want in a light beer—without sacrificing flavor or personality. This new brew is crafted with premium hops and grains, resulting in a crisp, refreshing taste worthy of the Blue Ribbon.
Pabst Light’s packaging blends retro inspiration with a modern, clean design. It’s made to appeal to today’s light beer drinkers while still giving a nod to Pabst’s iconic brewing history. Pabst Light offers something different from the mainstream, with the bold energy the blue ribbon badge represents. The brand will be widely available in 12 oz can and 16 oz can multipacks as well as individual 25 oz cans.
Kim Oakley, Director of Pabst Light, said: “We developed Pabst Light for people who want a great tasting light beer without overthinking it – low calories, low carbs, and priced right, knowing value means so much to today’s shopper. We’re excited to get it in the hands of beer drinkers everywhere who are looking for something new to call their favorite light beer.”
John Kimes, Senior Vice President of Brewing at Pabst, added: “We developed a new, special recipe for Pabst Light using only premium ingredients. El Dorado hops are rarely used in American Light beer, and they create a smooth, crisp, and refreshing taste.”
